Forth ports, Grangemouth is Scotland’s largest container terminal, located within the terminal Dyce Carriers’ central logistics hub allows us to diversify our services beyond Aberdeen, offering unique solutions in line with container loading and unloading operations.
Our Services
The Dyce Carriers Grangemouth depot offers a range of services to facilitate global client needs.
We offer out of guage haulage, heavy haulage, ad hoc haulage, and groupage services, as well as devanning, loading, and storage services through the unique capabilities of our Grangemouth site.
Whether you require heavy cargo handling, container LLS or devanning, or outdoor storage facilities, our highly skilled and experienced yard operations staff are ready to serve you. Our team of industry professionals will do the heavy lifting for you making great use of our range of specialist LLS equipment.
Our Facilities
Our offices occupy a one-acre site. We offer open storage capacity and also some internal storage to provide short-term cover to allow goods to be delivered or collected.
The capabilities of our Grangemouth base include:
- Reachstacker capable of 40-tonne cargo lifts
- 30-tonne container lifts for 20/40ft containers
- 16-tonne forklift
- 3-tonne triple stage container loading/unloading forklifts
- 8-tonne triple stage container loading/unloading forklifts
- Purpose built lift frame capable of 31ton centre point lifts
- Pipe loading boom capable of booming pipes weighing up to 2000kgs
- Capabilities to land up to 20 x 40ft containers to the ground
- Devanning 40ft and 20ft container
- Loading and lashing 20ft and 40ft containers
- Devanning 40ft and 20ft flatracks with OOG cargo
- Loading and lashing 40ft and 20ft flatracks with OOG cargo
- VGM provision for OOG flatracks
- Substantial outside storage facilities
- Facility to hold and store loaded containers.
Our Personnel
We have nine personnel based at our Grangemouth depot including three drivers, three yard operators, and three office personnel.
