Sponsorships and giving to the community
At Dyce Carriers we believe in Corporate Social Responsibility and support of local communities. Over the years we have lent our support to various events and causes, both in Aberdeenshire and across the UK, particularly in areas related to our business. This has included support and sponsorship arrangements for young athletes, community groups and charities, and a number of long term commitments.
Rotary Club Shoe Box Scheme
We participate in bi-annually in the Rotary Club Shoe Box Scheme. Shoeboxes containing donations of toys, toiletries, educational items, and other useful things are shipped to Eastern European families who find themselves in poverty. A small gift of happiness goes a long way.
Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine
Over the last year and a half, our team has been working with local charities and groups to transport humanitarian aid to the Polish border of Ukraine. Deliveries of food, clothes, bedding, and supplies are undertaken by our dedicated driver Piotr, who embarks on these week-long round trips every couple of months.
Local Food Banks
No one should go hungry at Christmas. We are committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families in the local communities where each of our depots are based, which is why we make annual donations to four local food banks every year in December.

Livabilty
We regularly support Livability, a disability charity that connects people with their communities, and helps people living with disabilities to build resilience, confidence, self-esteem, skills, and stay motivated.
Pip Hare Ocean Racing
We are proud to be an official supporter of the Pip Hare Ocean Racing Team! Pip Hare is a professional solo sailor, journalist, author and speaker, with a career that spans almost 30 years. She is the eighth woman in history to ever complete the Vendee Globe, a solo non-stop unassisted race around the world with the next start date the 10th November 2024 and this will be her second vendee Globe, in the lead up to this she will be racing in several events with her 60’ IMOCA class yacht.
Dixon Racing Team
Big Van World Kawasaki, is one of the world’s leading independent motocross teams. In all the team has secured three back-to-back WMX World Championships, eight British motocross championships, a Motocross Des Nations title, nine Grand Prix wins, and a runner-up spot in the 125cc World Championship.
Scottish Motocross Championship
We are sponsors of the Scottish Motocross Championship which supports young, talented motocross athletes to grow their skills and compete.
Tristan Purdon – Motocross Racer
We are sponsors of Tristan Purdon a very talented Motocross Racer and 7x SA Champion. Here he is in the last National of 2022, wrapping up the championship!
Ross Rutherford – Motocross Racer
We are sponsors of Ross Rutherford who is also a renowned motocross athlete and x7 Scottish Motocross Champion.
Local Youth Football Teams
We sponsor a number of local junior teams, including Dyce Juniors, the Aberdeen Roughnecks, Ferinelea Schools’ Local Youth Football Team, and E.S. Galaxy Football Club.
