About Our Drivers
A road haulage company can’t succeed without good drivers. Not everyone is cut out to be an HGV driver. Being a driver is a hugely responsible job, and one that often goes unrecognised by those not in the industry. It’s not easy to navigate the length and breadth of Britain whilst transporting immensely heavy, wide or abnormal loads. HGV drivers must be treated with the utmost respect whilst collecting and delivering their cargo.
The combination of the right mindset and training is what makes an HGV driver a valuable part of our team. Our first focus is always safety: the safety of the public, safety of the driver and safety of the load. The skill and preparation that goes into driving an HGV means it is a job to be admired.
Our Driving Team
We have a large pool of HGV qualified drivers. The UK has recently experienced a shortage of qualified drivers despite it being a profession that boasts high levels of job satisfaction. Most drivers make a significant financial investment to become an HGV driver before starting their career. It isn’t easy to find good drivers who will make good ambassadors for our brand. But at Dyce Carriers we are delighted to have a highly competent and well-respected pool of professionals.
Highly Trained Drivers
In addition to being either HGV 1 or HGV 2 qualified, our drivers are also CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and ADR (Dangerous Goods) trained.
